Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Sous Chef to join the team at our vibrant new establishment.
* Reporting directly with the Head Chef and deputising in their absence
* Working with the Head Chef to develop new menu ideas and ways to improve our offering
* Ensuring the food quality is at its highest standard at all times
* Ensure the performance of the chef team is of the highest standard by motivating and leading by example
* Overseeing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control in conjunction with the Head Chef
* Ensure all food safety and health and safety procedures are maintained to the highest standard
Hours per week: 45
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a CDP, senior CDP or Sous Chef.
* Proficiency in diverse cooking techniques and cuisines
* Leaving Cert level education or above
* NVQ qualification or equivalent
* Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
* Flair and innovative with menus and food presentation
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Exceptional attention to detail
