My Client, a theme restaurant in central Birmingham, is looking to recruit a Permanent Head Chef. They require a suitably experienced Head Chef looking for a fresh challenge in a highly regarded venue.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Manage kitchen operations
2. Oversee recruitment, training, and development
3. Supervise food production
4. Work closely with front-of-house teams
5. Manage inventory and control costs
6. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
7. Address operational issues and equipment malfunctions promptly
8. Implement strategies to optimize food costs, waste reduction, and profitability while maintaining guest satisfaction
The salary on offer is up to £34,000 plus bonus plus tips.
