1st Line IT Support - Scunthorpe - £25,000 to £30,000
Principal IT are working with a rapidly growing business based in Scunthorpe which has offices in Hull & Peterborough. Our client prides themselves on being a Microsoft Gold Partner while also delivering a premium level of support. They are currently on the lookout for a 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. This business has seen rapid growth throughout the pandemic and shows no signs of slowing down a few years on!
To be successful in this role, they are looking for someone who can adapt to a variety of challenges. Your responsibilities within this role will include working alongside the Tech Fix team to help resolve tickets and create content to help prevent and ease future tickets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Windows Server Environments
2. Office 365 environments
3. Active Directory/Azure Active Directory
4. Windows 10/Windows 11 Troubleshooting
5. Firewall Troubleshooting
6. Office 365 Backup Products
Essential Skills:
1. A huge passion for IT and technology.
2. Experience in a similar IT support role is essential.
3. Excellent knowledge of IT products including Microsoft Windows Server, Core Infrastructure Server Hardware, Virtualisation, Exchange/Office 365, Azure, Security Solutions (Anti-Virus, Firewalls, etc.).
