Sous Chef – Luxury Hotel – Devon – £35-£40K + Accommodation
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join our team at a prestigious 4-star hotel. This role offers the opportunity to support high food standards in a fine dining à la carte restaurant, along with a busy events operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation across all outlets.
* Help drive the kitchen’s performance, aiming for a 5-star hygiene rating and consistent improvement in food standards.
* Follow and enforce company procedures to ensure strong operational control and efficiency.
* Support the development of junior chefs, fostering a productive and collaborative kitchen environment.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume hotel or fine dining restaurant setting.
* Strong understanding of food safety, quality control, and hygiene practices.
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* A hands-on, positive attitude with a passion for delivering high standards.
