Job Purpose The primary objective of this role is to identify, nurture, and acquire new matchday hospitality opportunities to drive growth and profitability within hospitality sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales revenue targets through effective sales and marketing initiatives. This role requires proactively engaging with local and regional businesses to build a strong new business pipeline for all hospitality offerings, including: Seasonal boxes Seasonal restaurant packages VIP matchday experiences Match sponsorships General matchday hospitality sales Additionally, the Business Hospitality Sales Executive will manage new accounts and maintain strong client relationships to ensure continued business growth. Key Responsibilities Sell all hospitality products and services locally and across the South West. Identify new business opportunities to generate revenue and expand the hospitality sales pipeline. Attend networking events to connect with prospective clients. Account manage and develop relationships with new hospitality clients. Ensure all confirmed bookings are paid within the agreed timeframe. Conduct weekly client feedback calls with matchday guests. Achieve and exceed sales targets as set by the Head of Hospitality Sales. Maintain an up-to-date record of all pipeline accounts and provide weekly sales reports. Drive all aspects of the sales process, from lead generation to contract execution. Handle inbound email and telephone enquiries, focusing on conversion. Attend matchdays to engage and entertain clients. Contact prospective clients through LinkedIn, calls, emails, and in-person meetings. Develop a thorough understanding of all hospitality products. Clearly articulate the Lansdown Business Membership Club proposition to potential clients. Collaborate with the hospitality sales team to maximise sales opportunities. Identify high-growth accounts and, where appropriate, work with the Partnerships Sales team to explore partnership opportunities. Essential Criteria Proven experience in direct client relationship management. Strong negotiation skills. Demonstrated success in new business acquisition. Highly organised and methodical approach to workload. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Resilience in working towards and achieving sales targets. Ability to build strong relationships. Desirable Criteria Knowledge and experience in sports hospitality or the events industry. Familiarity with local and regional networking groups.
