Our partner is looking for an experienced senior data professional to help develop and support data platforms and systems. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate good experience and understand of data architectures, end- to-end data solution design and data modelling concepts.
These roles will primarily work on developing and supporting our Redshift, Snowflake and Matillion based cloud data platforms. The role will be building new pipelines and data models as well as helping to support and mentor others as we migrate data from our legacy platform to our new group data platform.
This is an opportunity to play a part and help shape and influence the roll-out of a new cloud-based Snowflake data platform and the role would suit ambitious individuals who as well as being technically excellent have good practical experience in end to end data solution design and modelling. You will get the opportunity to work with emerging technologies and practices, and we will help support candidates on their growth and this journey.
Your tasks
* Lead the design of complex end to end data pipelines, solutions, and data models. Provide oversight, design reviews and support to colleagues on data designs and models. Designs and development to help migration to our new platform.
* Build and develop complex data pipelines and solutions in an agile environment.
* Supporting and mentoring less experienced colleagues.
* Work closely with stakeholders, data and design teams on data related work supporting
* business goals and needs.
* Drive continuous improvement to help us constantly improve. Act as a role model for a continuous improvement mindset.
* Support, troubleshooting and rectification of systems, pipelines and data.
