Our client, a company striving for development and growth, is looking for a Trainee Sales Executive to join their dynamic and expanding team. Based in Bicester, this role is within an IT company that is seeking an enthusiastic, driven individual with an entrepreneurial and technical mindset. You will be required to learn about the company’s technology and engage with identified prospects (there is no cold calling) on the telephone and video conferencing to develop opportunities.
This office-based role will require 37.5 hours per week.
Duties of the Trainee Sales Executive:
1. Learn about the products and company.
2. Visit clients and prospect clients – this will be limited initially but will progress.
3. Conduct telephone calls to support the launch of the products.
4. Maintain up-to-date records of communication.
5. Take part in video conferences.
6. Follow up leads and interest from marketing campaigns and website landing pages.
Personal Attributes:
1. Experience in a sales or customer-focused position would be advantageous.
2. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
3. Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams, as well as HubSpot or other CRM systems.
4. Confident in public speaking.
5. Great organisational skills.
6. Ability to work well on your own initiative.
7. Desire to learn and develop a career within sales.
8. Full UK Drivers Licence due to the nature of the role.
