This lovely hotel, widely regarded as one of Yorks finest boutique hotels are looking to recruit an experienced Junior Sous chef or Chef de Partie to join the kitchen in this very talented team in this modern kitchen, you WILL learn here
With an emphasis on local, seasonal foods, cooked using modern & interesting techniques, with the latest chefs kit, this really is a great opportunity for a career minded chef to really make a name for themselves, working in a very supportive environment for one of the region's leading Independent hotels.
The ideal Junior Sous Chef will have the following attributes:
* Have experience working with fresh food, be it in Restaurant, Hotel or Gastro pub
* Ideally worked in a fresh food led kitchen, although a desire to learn is just as important here
* Be able to demonstrate at least 1 year in a similar position, no jumpy chefs here
* Have the desire & attitude to learn every day, soak up the style of service, and high standards of the kitchens, & bring a sound work ethic to the team, hard work, passion & desire are the attributes my client is looking for
