The Customer & Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving sales growth at Minstrel Court. This dynamic position combines venue concierge and guest relations with proactive sales and lead generation, ensuring the venue is positioned as a premier choice for events. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, customer-focused professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Venue Concierge & Guest Relations:
1. Welcome all guests, vendors, and prospective clients with professionalism and warmth, serving as the first point of contact for walk-ins, phone inquiries, and email communications.
2. Conduct personalised venue tours, showcasing Minstrel Court’s unique features and event packages.
3. Provide concierge-style service, assisting guests with special requests, local recommendations, and accommodation arrangements to enhance their experience.
4. Proactively generate leads through cold calling, networking, and outbound sales efforts to expand the client base.
5. Manage incoming inquiries, follow up with potential clients, and secure venue bookings to meet sales targets.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with couples, corporate clients, and event planners to foster repeat business and referrals.
7. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote venue offerings, develop sales strategies, and boost conversion rates.
Event Coordination & Administrative Support:
1. Assist the General Manager with daily administrative tasks, scheduling, and documentation to ensure smooth operations.
2. Coordinate event logistics, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure all requirements are met.
3. Maintain accurate booking records, update CRM systems, and document client communication history for seamless follow-up and reporting.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in sales, hospitality, or event coordination (venue or wedding industry preferred).
2. A confident, professional communicator who thrives in customer-facing roles.
3. Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to convert inquiries into bookings.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
7. Willingness to work weekends and evenings, as required in the events industry.
