As a Senior Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in developing and expanding our business by managing high-value, multi-stakeholder sales opportunities. You will be responsible for building strong client relationships, developing strategic sales initiatives, and driving revenue growth. This role reports to the Sales Director and requires collaboration with technical, design, and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of solutions. Salary - £70,000 to £80,000 car allowance commission How will you contribute? Customer Relationships & Business Development Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities to expand Invar Group’s client base. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers across high volume warehouse operation industries including the eCommerce, Omni-channel, 3PL, retail, and manufacturing sectors. Work closely with prospects to understand their automation needs and present tailored solutions that maximize ROI. Engage in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility. Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management Take full ownership of sales targets and pipeline development to exceed revenue goals. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates for senior management. Maintain accurate CRM records to enhance opportunity tracking and forecasting. Manage complex sales cycles that typically range from 6 to 24 months, ensuring a strategic and consultative approach to closing deals. Structure deals that align with client needs, balancing CapEx and OpEx financial models. Collaboration & Industry Expertise Desirable Work closely with technical teams to align solutions with customer requirements. Collaborate with Marketing to refine go-to-market strategies and messaging. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging warehouse automation technologies. What will you bring? Essential: Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong experience in complex, high-value solution sales with multi-stakeholder decision-making. Deep understanding of warehouse automation, including intralogistics technology, WMS, WCS, robotics, and software solutions. Strong ability to qualify and progress opportunities through structured sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger Sales, SPIN, MEDDPICC). Ability to create and present compelling value propositions in sales pitches and proposals. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of 3PL, SME, and eCommerce/Omni-channel logistics. Willingness to travel across the UK and occasionally abroad. Desirable: Proficiency in Salesforce and related automation tools. Experience in bid management and tendering processes. Familiarity with ROI modelling and business case justification for automation investments. Experience selling subscription-based automation solutions (RaaS, SaaS, CapEx/OpEx hybrid models). Expected Sales Targets Drive annual sales revenue aligned with Invar Group's strategic growth objectives. Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue quotas through effective pipeline creation, management and closing strategies. Secure new client contracts within the 6-24 month sales cycle, ensuring a healthy balance of short-term and long-term deals. What do we offer?
