Our client is a Sameday Courier / Bespoke Transport, dedicated vehicles, Haulage and Warehouse Solutions business based in Northampton who are now looking for a Field Sales Executive to join their expanding business.
As a Sales Executive, you will be pro-actively prospecting and winning new business opportunities with high value clients, selling renowned Bespoke Transport Solution Courier Services/Logistic Services/Delivery Services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Achieve New Business Revenue of £200,000 to £350,000 depending on experience and salary using a tracker tool to monitor progress.
2. Generate 15 New Leads per week.
3. Sign 2 New Accounts per Month that make at least 1 Same Day booking per day (average £150 per day revenue), capturing on Google Sheet and Sales Report.
4. Track progress of signed customers, monitoring spend using daily spreadsheets, and actioning if not trading to profile.
5. Conduct regular (at least once every 6 weeks) service meetings with signed customers to maintain relationships.
6. Send 30 cold call/intro emails each week, recording who you have sent them to upon the Sales Report.
7. Allocate at least one cold calling day per week making 25 quality calls, recording actions, and following up accordingly.
8. Core focus to be placed on NN postcodes.
9. Build a robust pipeline of at least 20 potential Same Day customers, including at least 2 High Profile clients, ensuring the list is kept up to date and relevant.
10. Increase Company profile via LinkedIn, Instagram, Cold Calling, etc.
The Candidate:
The ideal Sales Executive will have a proven sales track record within the Sameday Courier, Express Parcels, Pallet Distribution, Transport Solutions, Logistics or Freight Forwarding. Alternative backgrounds will be considered as long as applicants have a strong sales background in B2B sales, particularly selling to the Healthcare and Print Industries.
It is ESSENTIAL you are an experienced new business hunter with a background of successfully winning clients and have good knowledge of the Northampton and surrounding area.
Telesales backgrounds will be considered, and there is a fantastic opportunity to earn good commission and build a career with a supportive team.

Salary is negotiable for the right person, ranging from £30k to £40k plus car allowance and an excellent commission scheme.
