If you are experienced in marketing and have a passion for fitness and/or sport, we have an ideal opportunity for you to join our team as a Marketing & Sales Executive! Working on a wide range of marketing campaigns, e-marketing, media planning, media buying, and press relations, you will assist the team in delivery of our Marketing Strategy, and generation of sales and revenue in line with identified targets.
Hours, Pay and Benefits
Hours:
1. This is a full time, permanent position, working 37 hours per week
2. Working pattern is predominantly Monday-Friday but with some flexibility required for occasional evening or weekend work
Salary:
3. £28,541 per annum starting salary
4. Increase to £29,405 following successful six-month probationary period

Key Experiences and Qualifications
Essential to your application:
12. Practical work experience in a marketing role, OR a qualification in marketing or communications (NVQ level 3 minimum / equivalent)
13. Digital marketing experience
14. Capable of effectively managing multiple campaigns simultaneously
15. Excellent IT skills with confidence to learn new skills and systems
16. Efficient time management skills with ability to prioritise own workload
17. Unfazed when working under pressure to tight deadlines
Beneficial to your application:
18. HND or Degree in a relevant marketing or communications field
19. The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualification or membership
20. Knowledge of sport and leisure products and programmes
21. Ability to communicate in Welsh (or any other language(s) in addition to English)
22. Previous PR experience / responsibility
23. Understanding of working for a charity / charitable trust
Role Requirements
Working as part of our small marketing team and reporting into our Marketing Manager, you will have responsibility for the marketing of our fitness, sports, health, and wellbeing initiatives, collaborating with our managers from teams such as fitness, tennis, swimming, and cycling, for all aspects of marketing support.
Main responsibilities will include:
24. Management of campaigns from concept to delivery
25. Helping to achieve sales targets through effective campaigns
26. Social media management through our online channels
27. Efficient public relations management; developing an online PR profile
28. Creating, delivering, and managing online advertising
29. Ensuring all promotional materials are always correct and on-brand
30. Contributing to successful delivery of our Marketing Strategy, including development and implementation of our Digital Marketing Strategy
With fluid thinking, you will have the confidence to question and not be afraid to pitch ideas. This can be a demanding role, so you must be comfortable working in a busy environment to tight deadlines, with minimal supervision for your day-to-day tasks.
