Description
We are looking for a L&D Manager to join our purpose-driven HR team. This role is responsible for delivering the firm’s learning strategy and managing operational training across all business areas, including fee earners, business teams, secretaries, trainees, and apprentices. Working closely with the Senior HR Business Partner and HR Director, you will enhance our learning culture by developing high-quality training programs aligned with the firm’s values and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement the firm’s L&D strategy, ensuring alignment with business needs.
* Manage the training calendar and L&D budget, coordinating learning initiatives and professional development programs.
* Identify learning needs across teams and design tailored, inclusive training solutions.
* Partner with senior stakeholders and external providers to deliver impactful learning interventions.
* Design and facilitate interactive learning sessions, including leadership workshops and senior inductions.
* Maintain accurate training records, track participation, and measure effectiveness.
* Act as the main point of contact for all L&D-related queries, providing expert guidance and support.
About You
* Experience in Learning & Development, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders.
* Expertise in program design and facilitation, using blended and digital learning methods.
* A passion for inclusive learning, ensuring training is accessible and aligned with EDI principles.
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a problem-solving approach to challenges.
