Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Head Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen
2. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards
3. Ensure food production meets quality and presentation standards
4. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
5. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
6. Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and proper use of equipment
7. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items
8. Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
9. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Experience:
1. Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment
2. Strong knowledge of food production techniques, culinary trends, and flavor profiles
3. Proficient in supervising and managing a team of kitchen staff
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills
5. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
6. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
7. Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
