The Role:
As Kitchen Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day kitchen operations with a fully
hands-on approach, inspiring and motivating the team. We’re looking for someone
with a flair for fresh, crowd-pleasing food, strong leadership skills, and a
real passion for delivering quality at volume without losing the soul of what
makes YES special.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead
and inspire the kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality food
street style food.
* Develop
specials that reflect the YES spirit: bold, exciting, and locally loved.
* Oversee
all kitchen operations including stock control, ordering, health &
safety, and compliance.
* Manage
food costs, GP targets, and staffing budgets.
* Recruit,
train, and develop kitchen staff.
* Work
closely with the wider venue team to support events, pop-ups, and seasonal
menus.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven
experience in leading a street food venue or similar environment
* Excellent
leadership and communication skills.
* Strong
understanding of kitchen finances, cost control, and health & safety
regulations.
* Passion
for the independent food, drink, and live events scene.
