Laura, our founder, has been a loyal jelly lover all her life. Less than impressed with the current lack of offerings available, she decided it was time to jump into the kitchen and invent her own wobbly fun and Wibble was born! We are giving nostalgic desserts a make-over and bringing back the fun. Wibble desserts are LOW IN CALORIES, REDUCED SUGAR and 100% NATURAL.
We are a rapidly growing start-up with national listings in Tesco, Holland & Barrett, Ocado and Waitrose, experiencing aggressive growth and are disrupting the ambient desserts market with healthier options. We are proudly the first challenger jelly brand ever in Tesco!
We also supply 1000’s of schools through listings with Compass Group, Brakes, Bidfood, Blakemore and a host of other distributors. In line with the government agenda on sugar and obesity reduction, Wibble is shaking up a category that has lacked innovation since…well FOREVER! We are the only low sugar jelly crystals available on the foodservice market.
The Role
We are looking for a smart, ambitious and energetic Sales Executive. You will work directly with the Head of Sales and the Founder and be responsible for driving growth through existing customers in both Foodservice and Retail and hunting down new business. This role would suit someone with great people skills who is as happy on a trade show strand in London as they are in a kitchen with a school catering team in Lancashire.
We have lots of lovely customers who need a great person to help nurture them and grow with Wibble. The role covers both foodservice and retail initially but has the scope to develop as the business grows. As Sales Exec there will be a mix of office-based working as well as zooming around the country for customer visits/events and some working from home.
We’re offering equity and the chance to be involved at the early stages of an FMCG rocket ship and make a real impact.
Responsibilities:
· Account management: supporting and engaging customers, selling in NPD, onboarding sites.
· Reporting and Forecasting: understanding the numbers and impact on the business
· Relationship management: customer visits, trouble shooting, strong communication.
· Problem solving: things change rapidly in a startup, we need to think outside the box and move quickly to get results
· Business Development: Identify and secure new opportunities and close deals.
Qualifications:
· We don’t care if you have a degree or not! It’s important to us that you can demonstrate good people skills and a willingness to learn.
· A couple of years of FMCG experience would be great but it’s not essential.
Bonus Points:
· Experience working with a fast-growing start-up
· Experience working in the FMCG industry
· Experience in Account Management
· Driving License could be useful as there will be some travelling.
