To further facilitate continued growth, we are looking for a results-driven, process-focused Sales Executive to join us.
Within this role you’ll work alongside our Founder, Ash, who will share with you their extensive expertise in the sector, building on your own interest and exposure to our marketplace. We’re looking for someone who brings with them some familiarity with the clinical trials process and a drive to contribute to achieving health equity on a global basis through the work that you can do at COUCH.
Our ideal candidate will bring a strong background in lead generation and pipeline management. This role is ideal for someone who understands the fundamentals of sales processes and has spent some time developing experience in managing the full sales cycle. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to develop your expertise and advance your career in a supportive environment. You’ll also have the chance to travel and represent COUCH in a conference setting, establishing relationships and identifying opportunities face-to-face.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute and manage structured sales processes from lead generation through to deal closure.
2. Identify and qualify leads, ensuring a consistent flow of potential customers into the sales pipeline.
3. Proactively deliver and follow up on targeted marketing campaigns, in person at international conferences, by phone, and email.
4. Develop and maintain a well-organized sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and strategic engagement.
5. Work closely with internal industry thought leaders to refine sales strategies and approaches.
6. Utilize Salesforce to track and manage sales activities effectively.
7. Develop strong relationships with prospects and clients, understanding their needs and contributing to the development of tailored solutions.
8. Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive pipeline management and strategic sales execution.
9. Provide regular reports and insights on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.
10. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
1. Proven experience in lead generation and sales pipeline management.
2. Strong understanding and proven adoption in a previous role of sales principles, strategies, and best practices.
3. Experience managing the full sales process, with a desire to develop this further.
4. Highly process-oriented with the ability to implement and follow structured sales workflows.
5. Strong communication and negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach.
6. Proficiency in using Salesforce and sales tracking tools.
7. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
8. Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
9. Ability and willingness to travel.
10. Awareness of health inequality and a passion to be involved in addressing this on a global basis.
11. Understanding and appreciation of DEI in the context of clinical research and an understanding of the associated terminology.
Required Qualifications & Attributes:
1. Previous experience working in a B2B or consultative sales environment.
2. Knowledge of the clinical trials sector, specifically patient recruitment onto clinical trials, and its key market dynamics.
3. Ambition to grow into a more senior sales role with mentorship and guidance.
4. Analytical mindset with a keen eye for identifying sales opportunities.
