What will I be doing?
As Senior Sous Chef you will be a vital component in the day to day running of the kitchen. You will work closely with the Head Chef to help create menus that sit seamlessly alongside the creative brand. You will be heading up a team of chefs so interpersonal skills are essential. The development and education of junior chefs is going to be key to our success and you must show a willingness to embrace this. You will be required to run the restaurant pass in the absence of the Head Chef so an understanding of the whole kitchen operation will be required. As a whole team we will be very guest focused, which will require going above and beyond in all aspects of our work in order to achieve the high standards we, and our guests, expect.
In this role your responsibilities will include:
* Creating menus aligned with the restaurant's ethos.
* Delivering high quality dishes using seasonal Scottish ingredients.
* Running the restaurant pass.
* Mentoring and developing junior chefs to our high standard.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have:
1. 2+ years experience in a high volume and quality led Chef de Partie or Jnr Sous role.
2. A high understanding of classic cookery and seasonal ingredients
