Role: Learning and Development Manager
Location: Hybrid/Remote
Salary: £50K FTC (£250pd)
Contract: 18 months, possibly longer.
About the Role:
Are you ready to help shape the future of organisational development and learning? As our new People Development Trainer, you will play a key role in delivering our capability, talent and early careers agenda.
Working closely with the Learning and Organisational Development Partner and Early Careers Partner, you will have accountability for designing, delivering, adapting L&D and EC development programmes, workshops and learning events aligned to our People Strategy, ultimately fostering an environment where our colleagues thrive.
The role will be split across the Development team, specifically working with the L&OD and EC partners.
By offering expert development, advice, coaching and constructive challenge, you will empower and enhance the capabilities of our people. Your curious and imaginative nature will enable you to work at a fast pace while maintaining a keen eye on quality and timely delivery.
Building and nurturing effective relationships will be second nature to you. Your exceptional stakeholder management skills will help you proactively develop trusted connections that facilitate seamless collaboration.
Key Deliverables:
Early Careers
* Contribute to developing the ongoing build of our Early Career’s programmes learning.
* Support with ensuring the technical skills are delivered for the Early Career's cohorts with relevant technical leads
* Support the Early Careers partner with annual projects such as the induction programme, end of programme management, Work Experience weeks and end of rotation reviews.
Learning and Organisational Development:
* Support the facilitation of people leader development programmes and workshops
* Design, develop and facilitate bespoke programmes, workshops and events to build the core learning offer
* Contribute to corporate learning investment, such as reinvigorating the professions, skills mapping and LMS development
* Support the delivery of continuous improvement programmes, events and team initiatives
* Deliver Insights workshops and sessions to support team and individual development, enhancing opportunities to develop and embed the use of the tool
* Provide guidance and resources to teams requesting support with Team Development, facilitating team learning events and Away Days where appropriate.
Professional Requirements:
A highly experienced and qualified learning and development professional who specialises in the designing, curating and delivering L&D workshops, programmes and events to meet business needs. (CIPD, TAP, or equivalent)
Essential experience, skills and knowledge:
* Experience of delivering Organisation Development approaches, methods and tools to deliver organisation wide culture change
* Experience of identifying and assessing learning needs and developing effective L&D and performance improvement solutions
* Highly experienced instructional designer, creating engaging, interactive virtual classroom and in-person workshops.
* An excellent communicator, presenter and facilitator who takes a learner centred approach.
* Solution-orientated and a problem solver, with the ability to drive tasks forward
* Experience of working collaboratively with stakeholders, influencing across all levels of the business to consult and develop L&OD initiatives.
* Self-motivated and proactive approach to colleagues’ learning and personal development.
