All About the Role
This is an interesting new role, you will be given the training necessary to carry out your role, including mentoring by a strong, established sales team to develop business within our existing customer base whilst also seeking new opportunities. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm.
Specific tasks could include:
1. Answering incoming calls, fielding customer enquiries to the appropriate person.
2. Help to develop new business with an emphasis on cold calling, ensuring potential clients are aware of what our business has to offer.
3. Checking stock availability and raising quotations.
4. Following up on sales quotes and maintaining client records.
5. Responding to non-sales queries such as order progression updates, transport queries, etc.
6. Contacting customers to obtain missing information and respond to queries.
7. Raising sales orders in the system and liaising with operations/transport and sales to ensure smooth order progression through processing and delivery.

Essential Skills for the role:
1. You will have the passion, drive, and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative, creative way.
2. Eager to learn with a can-do attitude with a desire for career development in a sales-related role.
3. Sales admin or previous sales experience would be a bonus.
4. Strong interpersonal skills and an excellent telephone manner.
5. Good level of IT & confident in Microsoft packages.
6. A full driving license.
