Working hours: Minimum of 35 hours per week Interview Date: To be confirmed The Salvation Army UK and Ireland Territory is seeking a Records Manager to develop the records management programme across the Territory. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage the implementation and monitoring of records management services to the UK and Ireland Territory Provide advice and relevant training on records management best practice Work with external storage providers and internal stakeholders to ensure effective off-site storage of records Provide management information to leadership bodies on the progress of the records management service Liaise with IT and Data Protection colleagues to ensure a coordinated approach to managing records that is compliant with all legislation and good practice Provide input on managing records to the development of Territorial strategy and key projects Facilitate the transfer of historic records to the archives Manage the Records Management Assistant including oversighting their professional development and their work As the successful candidate, you will hold a recognised Records Management qualification and have a strong track record of delivering records management services to a high standard across a large organisation. You will be familiar with current legislation, standards and best practice in records management, and data protection and be familiar with EDRMS and associated records management software.
