Overview: - The role of HR Generalist reports to a Head of HR and is a very exciting role, supporting with a wide range of generalist people matters. In your new job as an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing HR support and guidance to all staff. The role itself is very generalist, covering the whole employee life cycle, recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, payroll administration, HR Projects as well as the day-to-day HR administrative tasks. You will communicate across all levels of the business, ensuring all key HR processes are delivered successfully. The successful candidate will be professional and confident while sustaining a friendly approach to assist with all employee queries. The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing background or similar, however, this is desirable and not essential. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ambitious, looking for a new challenge and committed to providing value to the HR function. Specific duties will involve but is not limited to: - Take responsibility for a wide range of employee relations matters including wellness Provide advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures Support the new staff contract negotiation process Provide support with disciplinary and grievance processes Recruit or assist in recruiting new company staff as required Keep updated with ACAS changes and best practice recommendations Support with recruitment of internal and external staffers Client communication and management Work alongside L&D to ensure the timely and correct training and develop is provided to staff HR reporting and maintenance of staff records Support the Head of HR with HR projects and initiatives Perform any other HR related tasks necessary upon needs of the business Perform task to ISO 9001 quality standards.
