J ob Description: Position Summary: Equal Edge seeks an experienced and dynamic International Business Development and Recruitment Manager to lead the recruitment of support workers with expertise in both administrative and personal care services from international markets. The successful candidate will develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies, build partnerships with global talent pools, and ensure compliance with international hiring regulations. This role is critical to supporting our future expansion into the personal care sector, driving growth, and maintaining high standards of care and support for our clients. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement an international recruitment strategy to attract skilled support workers with combined administrative and personal care experience. Identify and establish partnerships with international recruitment agencies, universities, vocational schools, and other talent sources. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding international hires. Business Development: Explore and establish recruitment channels in countries with skilled labor in the care sector. Develop and maintain a network of partners, including recruitment agencies, training institutions, and professional organisations, to support ongoing talent acquisition. Compliance and Policy Adherence: Collaborate with HR to manage documentation and processes related to visa sponsorships, work permits, and international employment standards. Stay updated on legal, ethical, and industry trends in international recruitment and personal care sectors. Talent Retention and Development: Collaborate with the training team to ensure recruited support workers receive appropriate orientation and training to succeed in their roles. Implement retention strategies to support international recruits' long-term career growth and satisfaction within Equal Edge. Provide ongoing support for international recruits, including cultural integration and career progression opportunities. Market Research and Insights: Conduct market research to identify key talent markets and stay informed about global trends in the administrative and personal care sectors. Use data analytics and insights to inform recruitment strategies and optimise hiring processes. Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align recruitment efforts with organizational goals and objectives. Support the Equal Edge leadership team in achieving diversification and growth targets within the personal care sector. Qualifications and Skills: Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Proven experience in international recruitment, business development, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of UK sponsorship licensing, visa processes, and employment regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously. Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and candidates. Desirable: Experience in the care sector, particularly recruiting candidates with combined administrative and personal care expertise. Familiarity with talent acquisition software and applicant tracking systems (ATS). Fluency in additional languages is an advantage.
