Technical Sales Executive

Are you an experienced technical sales executive looking to join a leading manufacturer on a huge growth trajectory?!
My client based in Swansea is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to deliver agreed targeted profitable sales growth and identify and develop innovative and new business streams that increase market share and establish a 'stand out' brand position.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
1. Promote the brands and product range across all sectors.
2. Develop the core offering, value proposition, and brand differentiation in the marketplace.
3. Identify and pursue profitable sales opportunities within the existing customer base.
4. Focus sales efforts by researching existing and potential volume of customer base and prioritising accordingly.
5. Respond and manage all quotes through the Salesforce CRM system in a timely and efficient manner to meet all client and company requirements.
6. Ensure activity reports on quote chasing activity are produced on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
7. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
8. Communicate effectively with colleagues internally and externally to ensure that information is disseminated effectively across the company.
9. Make a valid and considered contribution to all products by actively engaging in and supporting new sales initiatives.
10. Liaise with Finance regarding credit status checks.
Skills needed to be successful:
1. Understands customers' buying patterns and trends.
2. Believes in inbound marketing.
3. Proactive attitude to selling.
4. Sets realistic expectations with customers.
5. Technical and negotiation skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
Engineering, Chemical, Water treatment, or Heat pumps.
