Job Description:
We are recruiting for a Sous Chef on behalf of a stunning property on the West Coast of Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a beautiful location for a seasonal contract, from May to September, with accommodation provided. Join a talented team and help deliver exceptional dining experiences to guests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
* Support the creation of seasonal menus, working with fresh, local ingredients.
* Manage and train kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to hygiene standards.
* Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.
* Work efficiently under pressure, maintaining high standards of service.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, ideally in a hotel or restaurant.
* Strong culinary skills with a passion for fresh, local ingredients.
* Leadership abilities to manage and motivate a kitchen team.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver excellent service.
