Duties and responsibilities related to the Sous Chef role
1. Provide support to the Head Chef in daily restaurant operations which operates for lunch and dinner.
2. Assume responsibility for managing shifts ensuring smooth functioning and maintaining quality standards.
3. Train, coach, motivate, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
4. Assist in the recruitment and selection process of new team members, contributing to building a strong culinary team.
5. Ensure that all dishes meet very high standards and align with company expectations for taste, presentation, and quality.
6. Enforce strict adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards
About you
Proven track record and experience in high-end Chinese cuisine is desired, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent knowledge of food trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
