City Auction Group are looking to recruit an ambitious Buyer Services Executive for our Peterborough Auction Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join a rapidly growing automotive business. Working within the sales team, the candidate will develop relationships with both existing and potential new buyers, support the ambitious growth plans for 2024 - 2025, and assist buyers with any pre and post-sale needs.
This role would suit someone with experience in business-to-business and business-to-customer sales, ideally used to negotiating on the phone and using digital communication to their advantage.
Responsibilities
* Research and identify sales leads/potential clients online as well as using social media to identify new opportunities.
* Demonstrate the benefits of purchasing stock through City Auction Group instead of other remarketing channels.
* Contact potential clients via email, phone, and text to establish rapport and set up new accounts.
* Open Buyer accounts and encourage purchasing both physical and online.
* Identify key decision makers within the business and update our system with contact information.
* Negotiate terms by phone, email, and in person.
* Maintain and grow new clients to gain maximum purchase volume.
* Manage dormant buyers, identifying trends and re-engaging regularly.
* Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the auction business.
Skills
* Strong communication skills, especially candidates who can evidence strong experience in telesales.
* Negotiation skills, both remotely and face-to-face as required.
* Understanding customer requirements and using this information to pitch our products and services correctly.
* Administration experience, evidencing an organised and robust working process.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £25,000 basic with an OTE of £35,000.
Expected hours: 40 per week.
