As our new Head Chef, you’ll lead our kitchen team to deliver great pub food to our customers.
You’ll be working with seasonal, local and regional ingredients, in a well-equipped kitchen – within a company that really understands the importance of getting food right. We are a unique site in Fuller's and much of the day to day tasks of leading our kitchen team involve managing a high-volume site where consistency and speed are the key to customer happiness. With opening hours of 6am-8pm daily and with sales consistent across the week, the role offers huge flexibility with regards working hours.
This role would be a great fit for a sous chef looking to take the next step in their career. We offer lots of support and training to guide the right candidate to success. Being a Head Chef is a great opportunity to take control of your own kitchen and its team, and you can count on the full support of a team of Executive Chefs to help you along the way.
You’ll lead your team expertly through service, and you’ll take full control of the "business" side of the kitchen, from stock takes to health & safety.
That means you’ll need a commercial head, as well as cooking skills. You’ll also be a great communicator, calm under pressure, and you’ll be driven by a shared vision of success and a company that will give you the tools to do so.
