LEAD DATA ENGINEER – WASHINGTON, TYNE & WEAR

Role Overview
The Data Engineer will be responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining data solutions aligned with our business objectives. This role involves designing and implementing software within our Data Warehouse platform, ensuring solutions are efficient, secure, and meet stakeholder requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Proficiency in data operation languages such as SQL, Python, Scala, and R.
2. Experience with Big Data Technologies like Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Synapse, Spark, Kafka, and familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL).
3. Knowledge of data integration and ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, or Apache NiFi.
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to manage and interpret large datasets.
5. Experience collaborating with data operations teams.
Skills and Experience
1. Experience with D365 F&O.
2. Background in e-commerce retail or supply chain environments.
3. Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Science, or a related field.
