Job Title: Head Chef
We're recruiting an ambitious Head Chef to create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Shift Pattern
* Monday to Sunday: Full-time (Days)
Note: This role is contracted to 39 weeks per year.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing high-quality, delicious food that delights our clients and customers
* Identifying opportunities to improve food service
* Creating a positive kitchen environment supporting your team
* Delivering our food concepts effectively
* Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
* Managing stock control, food ordering, and waste reduction
* Maintaining hygiene standards through kitchen cleaning responsibilities
* Managing budgets and meeting financial targets
* Ensuring compliance with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations
Ideal Candidate
* Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
* Create a positive and thriving work environment
* Excellent communication skills and relationship-building abilities
* Experience in a similar Head Chef role
* Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to excellence
* Ability to take initiative and make customer-focused decisions
* Resilient under pressure
