Acteon are looking to source a Head of Talent on a full time, permanent basis. The Head of Talent will be responsible for designing and implementing an integrated global talent and engagement strategy that delivers against Acteon's talent needs now and for the future. S/he is a thought leader, influencer, and agent of change as it relates to talent development and employee engagement. This role is responsible for creating and leading the execution of enterprise-wide programs in the areas of talent planning, talent acquisition, employee orientation/onboarding, succession planning, performance management, and employee learning, development, and engagement. Working closely with senior leaders, s/he will directly impact Acteon's ability to assess, attract, motivate, develop, and retain top talent, thereby enabling the business to deliver on its goals. Duties & Main Responsibilities: Key member and thought partner of the HR leadership team, in determining and executing strategic talent and engagement initiatives across Acteon. Serves as a subject matter expert, building out offerings related to all areas of talent planning, development & engagement. Identify organizational capability gaps, analysing people-related data and trends, whilst partnering with various stakeholders to uncover talent needs, potential, productivity enhancement, and future leaders. Develop and prioritise a comprehensive plan to align the organisation's talent needs with business goals, focusing on developing and retaining critical skills, this includes, but not limited to: oDesign of an integrated talent review framework for identifying and nurturing top talent and critical roles to ensure exceptional people and performance oEnhance the company's succession planning process to ensure the organisation is well-positioned for future growth, including developing career paths by discipline, robust succession planning, mentorship frameworks, graduate programmes, etc oDesign of a leadership development program to build a strong pipeline of future leaders oDevelop and implement effective talent attraction strategies oCollaborate with HR colleagues implement efficiency improvements in the recruitment process and improve diversity in our workforce oAnticipate future workforce needs and advise on sourcing tactics to sustain the company's success oOversee the development of employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice. oConduct research and provide tailored solutions to prioritise initiatives across all disciplines, working with the key stakeholders to ensure buy in oLeads effective and efficient people change management practices, efforts, and communications at both executive and local levels, ensuring that new or revised programs, initiatives, processes, and systems are well supported in their communication, adoption, and implementation oContinuously review and recommend improvements to the company's performance management systems to drive employee engagement and productivity oDesigns and delivers an employee engagement strategy that includes driving the evolution of the company culture. oOwn the employee engagement survey initiative, and work with HR colleagues, to develop action plans oChampions Acteon's equity, diversity and inclusion philosophy and practice in all talent programs and processes, in support of a diverse and inclusive culture and workforce. oDevelops and sustains strong, collaborative partnerships both inside and outside the company to proactively identify, resolve and coordinate efforts in relation to strategic talent management programs and initiatives, and to act as an Expert providing coaching, advice and guidance as required. Drives a continuous improvement mindset and practice to ensure all new and current programs and practices are designed, reviewed, and/or streamlined for maximum efficiency and effectiveness in alignment with the strategic business goals and with a continued lens on modernization. A sense of urgency and ability to see broad organizational view. Proficiency with MS Office applications. Experience with HRIS Systems (Sage People would be an advantage) Key Qualifications/Requirements: Education: Ideally a university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in talent management, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing talent management strategies. A good working knowledge of talent acquisition strategies and fast paced recruitment in all disciplines.
