We seek a skilled Head Chef to lead our culinary team in a bustling kitchen environment. The successful candidate will oversee food preparation, manage kitchen operations, and ensure high-quality dining experiences for our customers.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff in food preparation
* Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation
* Manage inventory and control food costs effectively
* Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety procedures
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards
Requirements
* Extensive experience in the hospitality industry
* Proven expertise in supervising kitchen operations and leading a team
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen management
* Leadership skills to motivate and guide kitchen staff effectively
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Schedule:
* 45 hour week
* 5 out of 7 days
* We trade 365 days a year
Experience:
* Chef: 5 years (preferred)
* Cooking: 5 years (required)
