Bring your friends and take part in our generous 'Refer a Friend' programme and earn up to 1000 per person Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating Managing kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling Maintaining a happy and engaged team through 1:1 meetings, incentives and recognition Inductions for all new starters in line with company procedure Manage the Junior Sous Chefs to ensure all training is to company standards Mentor any new members of the team, to ensure a positive working experience Ensuring that all kitchen staff follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and kitchen procedures Managing food inventory and ordering supplies as needed Ensuring that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and repaired as needed. Collaborating with other kitchen staff and restaurant management to ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner Handling customer complaints or issues related to food quality or service Treat everyone with respect and remain calm at all times Required Qualifications & Experience: 2 year's experience in a similar role Team management experience Excellent communication skills Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised and capable of handling multiple tasks A proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgement and minimal direction
