An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated Music and Drama Teacher to join our dynamic team within a thriving London Borough academy. Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Learning
Develop and deliver high-quality lesson plans aligned with the academy’s curriculum and standards.
Engage and inspire students, fostering a love for music and drama that drives academic success.
Set and monitor targets, ensuring all students achieve or exceed expected progress levels.
Support student growth through regular assessment, feedback, and tailored learning interventions.
Extra-Curricular Enrichment
Champion extra-curricular music and drama activities, both within and outside the school day.
Encourage student participation in enrichment opportunities, cultivating their talents and aspirations.
Academy Culture & Values
Embody the academy’s values and ethos by supporting a safe, respectful, and disciplined environment.
Support colleagues in promoting a cohesive community of high expectations and achievement.
Participate actively in pastoral care, student welfare, and safeguarding initiatives.
Professional Development
Continually advance teaching practice, aiming for high proficiency and effectiveness.
Contribute to the academy’s culture of continuous improvement through performance management and quality assurance.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
Experience and expertise in teaching music and drama, with a proven track record of student achievement.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
