A popular school located in Tottenham is interested in securing a Drama teacher to join their team. This Ofsted Good, mixed secondary school is seeking a teacher of Drama on a full-time basis. The school is within walking distance to a range of transport links, shops, and amenities.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND DRAMA TEACHER CONTRACT:
1. A medium-sized secondary school.
2. To assist the Head of Department in ensuring that teaching in your subject is of high quality and contributes to the department's improvement plan.
3. To participate in staff development activities provided within the department and whole school.
4. To deliver, as directed, syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, assessment and marking policies, and teaching strategies so that student needs can be met.
5. To report student progress in your subject to the Head of Department and to parents/carers.
THE RIGHT DRAMA TEACHER WILL BE:
1. Confident with teaching Drama to an A-level standard.
2. Creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box.
3. Possess a degree relating to Drama.
4. Have a teaching qualification - QTS.
5. Eligible to work in the UK.
6. Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years.
7. Have a fully enhanced DBS on the online update service.
