2. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontracts in alignment with company standards and compliance requirements.
3. Maintain and expand a vetted vendor database, focusing on performance, reliability, and capacity.
4. Collaborate with project teams, estimating, legal, and finance to align vendor selection with project needs and timelines.
5. Develop and implement vendor prequalification processes, bid solicitation procedures, and performance tracking systems.
6. Serve as a key point of contact for vendor negotiations, pricing discussions, and conflict resolution.
7. Monitor contract compliance, ensuring scope, terms, and deliverables are met throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Stay current on industry trends, market pricing, and legal/regulatory updates affecting vendor and contract management.
What You Bring:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in contract administration, procurement, or vendor management—preferably in construction, engineering, or a project-based industry.
3. Strong negotiation skills and working knowledge of contract law and risk management.
4. Experience managing vendor relationships and subcontractor networks across multiple regions or service areas.
5. Proficiency in procurement and contract management platforms (e.g., Procore, SAP, GEP, or similar).
6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you’re a relationship builder who can balance firmness with diplomacy.
