Job Title: Sales Executive – Index Sales, Real & Private Assets
Location: the US (remote) or in our London office.
Company Overview: Scientific Infra & Private Assets Ltd (SIPA) is an ESMA-registered index provider, specialising in private markets, with a focus on private equity and infrastructure. SIPA provides asset-level indices and metrics (as opposed to fund-level) of the risk and performance of investments in unlisted companies and their debt. Today, users of this data include major investors, asset managers and consultants around the world and represent USD1Tr of private assets under management (AUM).
SIPA is the corporate arm of the EDHEC Infrastructure & Private Assets Research Institute (EIRA) of the EDHEC Business School.
Position Overview: We are hiring Sales Executives in the US (remote) or in our London office. This is an opportunity to join a growing and global team that is bringing new and disruptive products to the private asset investment sector with previously unavailable data that tracks the performance and risks of private markets. These new roles are focused on private equity investors in the Americas, especially LPs but also large GPs with a quant edge.
Qualifications: Only candidates with significant experience in selling indices and benchmark data to asset owners, managers, or consultants will be considered for this position. Experience in private markets and data is a strong plus but not necessary. The ability to present science-based, quant-driven data and benchmarking solutions to sophisticated clients is paramount. The role also requires presenting a technical product (calculated, model-based index) in a market that is not always used to quantitative approaches. The successful candidate will have experience selling advanced data solutions involving a degree of modelling and quantitative approaches, e.g., Hedge fund indices.
Responsibilities: The role requires actively researching leads and opportunities and extensive traveling in North America.
Compensation: Compensation is competitive but highly dependent on meeting sales targets. This role is based in the US (remote) or in the SIPA London office but requires significant travel to North America.
