Hotel Collingwood in Bournemouth are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Junior Sous Chef to join our team. The Head Chef and his team pride themselves on delivering fresh, cooked to order meals for our guests. We are a 53 Bedroom Hotel with a busy restaurant serving staying guests and locals. We also cater for events weddings and celebrations in our function room. Duties and Responsibilities Support the head chef in leading the rest of the kitchen team to success Deliver food to spec, keeping consistent quality, and maintaining healthy stock and profit levels Stock ordering and planning Keep the kitchen to a 5 star standard of cleanliness and health and safety. Train new and existing team members. To develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with the rest of the team and other colleagues To report equipment faults and defects To attend all relevant training as and when required Pay rate depending on experience, opportunity to learn and progress.
