Just 20 minutes from Ipswich, our client is a boutique hotel with 10 modern guest rooms. Part of a small group of individual family-run hotels, country club and spa, the hotel offers diners a range of delicious classic dishes in the main restaurant.

What’s involved?
As an experienced Sous Chef, you will have high standards and will be able to provide guidance to the kitchen team, leading and supervising them in the Head Chef’s absence. You will work closely with the Head Chef to create and deliver interesting menus using fresh produce where possible, ensuring quality in every dish as well as assisting in the training and development of the team.
The successful Sous Chef will have previous hotel experience and will be able to bring some of their dishes to life in the menus. You will monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins whilst ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and health and safety at all times.
