Sous Chef Fresh, Seasonal Country Pub
Location: St Ippolyts, near Hitchin
Salary: £32,500 per annum, with OTE of up to £40,000 including Bonus & Tronc
Accommodation: Live-in available
Are you a passionate and organised chef looking to work with fresh, local ingredients in a stunning countryside setting? We're on the lookout for a Sous Chef to join our friendly, hardworking kitchen team at our beautiful pub.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
2. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
4. Supervise kitchen staff and ensure food safety standards are met.
5. Help in menu planning and inventory management.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
