WHAT'S THE ROLE?
As our Auction Sales Executive, you'll play a key role in our Remarketing team, responsible for managing the resale of end-of-contract cars and vans across our Corporate and Consumer customers. This team is essential to our success, delivering market leading performance through vehicle resales.
You'll be an SME in vehicle remarketing, with a primary focus on vehicle market allocation, pricing, and sales. You'll ensure vehicles are prepared and marketed effectively via wholesale and retail channels to maximise returns. Key responsibilities include:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with trusted suppliers to ensure sales standards are maintained.
* Attend auction sales events across the UK (from Leeds to Brighton) and identify new remarketing opportunities.
* Take responsibility for vehicle assets, setting reserve prices, and making decisions to sell or negotiate if reserve prices aren't met.
* Assess and manage tactical refurbishments to improve vehicle resale value, balancing cost and potential uplift.
* Actively contribute to reducing time-to-sell while maximising returns through effective vehicle preparation and pricing strategies.
* Stay informed on changing market conditions and provide performance analysis, league tables, and insights to the team.
* Offer advice on vehicle preparation, manage auction queries, and support the Remarketing team with complaints.
In addition, you'll play a key role in an innovative Programme at Zenith, giving you the opportunity to directly contribute to Zenith's performance and sustainability goals.
While this role is field-based, you'll have the flexibility to balance fieldwork with working from home. We'd also like you to be visible in our Leeds office at least once per month.

WHAT YOU CAN OFFER

* Knowledge of the fleet industry and a deep understanding of vehicle pricing, data, and specifications.
* Prior experience in auction management, vehicle remarketing, or wholesale buying.
* Confidence to make decisions and deliver solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work independently as a trusted decision-maker.
