Recruiting for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead and expand sales across the Bristol / South Wales region. This role focuses on driving demand for high-quality construction consumables, cultivating strong relationships with customers, and achieving ambitious sales targets.
As a Business Development Manager, you will:
* Target Contractors, Groundworkers and Regional Developers
* Develop and implement sales strategies to generate demand and achieve revenue targets.
* Manage and grow a portfolio of key account customers while ensuring fair distribution of accounts within the team.
* Gain comprehensive market knowledge of current and potential customers and projects in the region.
* Collaborate with internal teams to align technical support and pricing policies to regional strategies.
* Ensure exceptional customer service to maintain high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
* Promote health and safety as a top priority and champion a culture of compliance and ethical business practices.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience in sales of construction products, preferably for a large distributor.
* Relationships with Contractors, Groundworkers, Developers
* In-depth knowledge of the industry and markets within the Southwest region.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify gaps and deliver solutions.
* Exceptional communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
* High ethical standards and a proactive approach to achieving business goals.
