You will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering engaging digital learning experiences for our employees. Contract: 12 month FTC Working hours: 35 hours per week is full time. Salary: Circa £43,000 Reporting to: Learning and Development Manger London docklands O ur permanent hybrid policy sees us all working at least four days across a fortnight in the office. As a Digital Learning Designer, you will collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and colleagues to design, develop and deliver engaging and effective digital learning solutions for various internal audiences and platforms. You’ll work across all aspects of L&D in collaboration with the L&D Partners and Strategic People Partners. The key to success in this role is to apply instructional design principles, learning theories and best practice to create learner centric and outcome-oriented digital learning experiences, such as aligning the content with the learners needs, preferences, and goals, using active learning strategies, providing feedback and reinforcement. Key responsibilities Designing, developing, and evaluating fitting digital or hybrid learning solutions across all areas of the organisation Collaborating with internal subject matter experts, stakeholders, and colleagues to conduct training needs analysis, define learning objectives and evaluate learning outcomes, using methods such as interview, surveys, focus groups and tests Working closely with and advising the Learning Partners about effective digital learning wraparounds. Then creating engaging content as required to support the learning aim/outcomes Managing multiple digital learning projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards and budget compliance, using project management tools and methodologies such as agile or scrum, and communicating effectively with the project team and stakeholders Managing external partnerships including working with external suppliers to build access to best-in-class L&D products and services Supporting with the procuring & tendering process for all digitally related contracts/systems Keeping your knowledge up to date of our customer journey in order to build relevant content and delivery platforms for our case handling area Staying up to date on the latest trends and innovations in digital learning and technology and continuously exploring new ways to enhance the learning experience, such as microlearning, adaptive learning, artificial intelligence, and gamification. Managing the learning & journeys module within Workday to ensure a suitable customer experience during use. You will be expected to become a workday SME. Generating, interpreting, and presenting digital learning analytics to stakeholders, informing, and recommending areas of improvement Continuously ensuring all our internal digital learning content is updated to capitalise on of the latest learning trends, using 5di process or similar strategies UK travel will be required To be considered for this role, you’ll need to show us that you’ve got the skills and capabilities. You’ll have to meet the following minimum criteria: Minimum Criteria Experience of Digital Design and development. Ability to use digital learning authoring tools and understanding their capabilities such as Elucidat, Articulate storyline, Camtasia, Vyond, Adobe suite Previous digital learning content using storyboards and various digital tools Working to deadlines, with awareness of Agile or Scrum methodologies Experience with content authoring storyboarding: Creating storyboards or porotypes to visualise the flow and structure of the e-learning modules Desirable Criteria We would also like you to have the following skills: Creative and innovative with a passion for generating new ideas and challenging the status quo Being solutions oriented, persistent and determined Working in an efficient and resilient manner and taking personal accountability for high standards of delivery Good understanding of UX/UI design Why Financial Ombudsman Service?
