Service Express UK has a new opening for an experienced Hardware Sales Executivewith successful sales experience. The Hardware Sales Executive main focus is to is to generate revenue by selling new and refurbished IBM Hardware and related services to current and prospective Service Express customers.
What you will do:
1. Maintain an up to date and continuously evolving understanding across all IBM Hardware platforms, related customer strategies and challenges as well as the Service Express catalog of solutions related to those specific challenges.
2. Consult with customers to sell solutions related to the management of their IT Hardware infrastructure effectively and profitably.
3. Manage an effective sales process aligned to the Service Express ASCEND Core methodology.
4. Act upon sales leads provided by partner departments within Service Express.
5. Coordinate with partner departments to ensure services sold to customers are delivered to specifications outlined during the sales process.
6. Nurture relationships with customers in assigned regions to develop opportunities for additional business.
7. Nurture relationships with Service Engineers in assigned regions to identify areas of opportunity within Service interactions.
8. Actively participate in all scheduled internal business meetings and trainings to maintain and improve knowledge of services and business processes.
9. Engage as appropriate with all internal functions, such as Sales, Service, Billing & Customer Success, to ensure customer solutions are successful and serviced appropriately.

What you will bring:
16. Experience selling IT Hardware products and services such as HP, Dell, Lenovo or Cisco desirable
17. Additional experience selling solutions or services such as Third-Party Maintenance, Managed Services, and Cloud Services preferred
18. Ability to work independently and be self-driven
19. Demonstrated ability to act resourcefully
20. Strong oral and written communication skills in addition to strong active listening skills
21. Developed negotiation and persuasion skills
22. Assertive personality and tenacity in working with customers
