We cater for various events, including parties and celebrations, and offer a range of menu options such as breakfast, lunch, and Sunday lunch. We also provide outdoor catering services.
Role Description
This is a contract role for a Sous Chef. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of food, managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality, and maintaining kitchen hygiene. Additional duties will include menu planning, inventory management, and adhering to health and safety regulations. This is an on-site role located in Scarborough.
Hourly rate is £14.50ph, paid weekly
Hours/days: variable with a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of 48 hours, including weekday, weekend, and evening availability.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques
* Experience in inventory management
* Strong leadership skills for managing kitchen staff
* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Culinary degree or equivalent experience is a plus
