A highly established manufacturing Industrial Door and Loading Dock Leveller business, established since the 1980s, has an incredible opportunity for a Sales Executive to join their team. The company has progressed significantly over recent years, acquiring several businesses and introducing new products to their portfolio. They offer multiple products and hold a leading name in the industry. One of their primary functions in the UK is to further establish their sales team, with two newly created roles in the West Midlands and/or Basingstoke, Reading areas. They offer an attractive salary circa £45k to £50k, along with an additional bonus, Car Allowance or Company Car scheme, and Medical Cover.
These opportunities would suit a Sales Executive or Contracts Manager from the Doors or Material Handling Industries. This position focuses on new equipment sales of products/parts, rather than selling service contracts, targeting end users.
Responsibilities:
1. Sell products and agreed allied equipment to end users.
2. Develop and maintain professional customer relationships.
3. Maximise exposure by maintaining acceptable sales volume and profitability in defined sales territory.
4. Contact end-user customers to build professional relationships.
5. Provide design assistance to architects and planners for future projects with drawings.
6. Support customers to ensure correct product selection to maximise customer benefit.
7. Prepare offers and define orders with customers.
8. Provide premium design assistance to architects and planners to ensure the specification of products.
9. Prepare detailed order specifications for problem-free internal handling of orders.
10. Conduct visits to customer sites to ensure correct preparations for installations (detailed site surveys).
11. Final approval of installations with customers (to be done by the relevant department - Project team).
12. Provide information on market and possible product opportunities to management.
13. Support the defined reporting policy.
14. Ensure order intake, sales, and profits according to the set targets.
Requirements:
1. Experienced Sales Executive, Contracts Manager, or Project Manager from the Industrial Door, Loading Bay, or similar industries.
2. Strong background in selling to end users is required.
3. Results-driven with proven success in establishing businesses.
4. Full clean UK driving license.
5. Good MS Office skills (including PowerPoint).
