Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drama and theatre arts, a commitment to excellence in teaching, and a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring young minds.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging drama lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Develop and implement a creative and inclusive curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
* Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
* Organise and direct school productions, performances, and extracurricular drama activities.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in drama education.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Drama, Theatre Arts, or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience teaching drama at the secondary school level.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
