This is a fantastic opportunity to join our clients Air Solutions team as Technical Service & Training Manager. The Air Solutions team is responsible for helping to develop and grow the UK business in line with our clients' strategies and objectives.
As Technical Service & Training Manager you will be responsible for presenting training courses and developing the technical team at varying levels of material and structure to new and existing team and key customers alongside other key stakeholders. Working to maintain and drive companies KPIs and SLAs
Technical Service and Training Manager Position Overview
1. Present in person product training to Customer training at their HQ and actively promote the training the manufacturer can offer.
2. Training courses include Heating product training, VRF, Split and Multi splits
3. Controls e.g. Centralised BMS ( BACNET / MODBUS ).
4. Update courses in line with new product releases.
5. Develop training courses - Hands on fault finding / ASC specific training.
6. Provide technical support customers at their premises when required.
7. Present and provide technical support and how they can support new customers at trade shows / Events when required.
8. Keep training material up to date with industry legislation.
9. Update companies' policies documentation from listening to customer feedback
10. Managing the training technical support resources ensuring materials / products are updated and optimal utilisation for engineers and customers.
11. Achieve set and agreed KPIs as discussed with the General Manager
12. Provide effective and detailed reporting of all attendees. Providing monthly reports.
13. Supporting technical team and service activities
Technical Service and Training Manager Position Requirements
14. Solid relevant experience, preferably gained from a reputable manufacturer. Engineering or other relevant technical based qualifications are desirable
15. Proven effective customer and relationship management skills
16. Good technical and product awareness, including product development and introduction. Good understanding of all relevant legislations
17. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
18. Experience of working within a performance management environment - KPIs and Service Level Agreements
19. Highly focused and capable of sustaining a fast pace in a dynamic environment
20. Able to constructively challenge and improve existing practice
21. Completer finisher, able to be resilient to drive issues through to a successful customer-focused solution
22. Good judgement, able to make practical and realistic decisions within scope of responsibility
23. Proven commercial acumen and ability to achieve commercial objectives
Technical Service and Training Manager Position Remuneration
24. 60,000-65,000 per annum
