You will be working for a well-established organisation based within the manufacturing and distribution industry and they have been established for 30+ years based in Tamworth.
What will our client offer you?
1. Salary up to £35,000 per annum
2. Working hours can either be 9.00 am to 5.00 pm or 9.15 am to 5.15 pm Monday to Friday

As the HR Generalist, you will be:
1. Working with the HR Manager to monitor and review all HR policies and procedures
2. Responding to general queries from managers and employees, signposting them to the appropriate policy and procedure
3. Providing advice and guidance on employee relations issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, sickness absence management including OHA referrals, investigation meetings, etc.
4. Supporting the HR Manager with new and ongoing projects
5. Working collaboratively with the existing HR Generalist to produce various HR statistics such as turnover rates, absenteeism, recruitment, salary benchmarking and trends
6. Monitoring sickness absence across the group, reporting trends and monthly sickness absence analytics to the HR Manager whilst supporting the Line Managers with conducting absence reviews
7. Overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, conducting interviews, and facilitating smooth onboarding with support from the HR Assistant
8. Supporting the onboarding and offboarding process by conducting inductions and exit interviews
9. Assisting with training and development including appraisals and enhancing employee skills and performance
As the HR Generalist, you will have:
1. Previous experience working as an HR Generalist, this is essential
2. Experience in HR processes, policies, and employee relations
3. A CIPD Level 5, this is essential or you may be finishing your studies within the next few months
4. Knowledge of UK Employment Law
5. A natural problem solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
6. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the variety of responsibilities that come with a growing business
7. Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
