The HR Generalist is a key role within the HR team, responsible for providing professional HR guidance and support to managers and employees across the organisation. The HR Generalist ensures that HR policies, procedures, and initiatives are effectively implemented, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Our hybrid working pattern minimum 3 days in the office is applicable to this role after successful probation.
Main Responsibilities:
Onboarding and Offboarding
* Assist with Hiring Initiatives: Collaborate with the hiring team when needed to ensure effective and efficient staffing processes.
* Onboarding Support: Facilitate the seamless integration of new employees into the organization by managing the onboarding process.
* Exit Process Management: Ensure smooth transitions for departing employees through effective management of the offboarding process.
Employee Relations
* HR Guidance: Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing guidance on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Manager Support: Assist managers in addressing employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance improvement plans.
* Absence Management: Offer advice on managing workplace absences and support the implementation of relevant policies and practices.
Employee Experience
* Performance Reviews: Advise and guide managers through the performance review process, focusing on setting objectives, delivering feedback, and conducting evaluations.
* Wellbeing Initiatives: Promote workplace health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives to foster a supportive and healthy work environment.
* Project Support: Participate in various HR projects and initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience.
Continuous Improvement
* Compliance: Remain informed about employment laws and regulations to ensure the company adheres to legal requirements.
* Policy Development: Contribute to the development and updating of HR policies and procedures.
* Engagement Initiatives: Support initiatives aimed at increasing employee engagement and satisfaction.
* Workflow Optimization: Analyze and propose improvements to current workflows to reduce manual tasks and increase automation in HR processes.
Data Management
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and monitor HR metrics.
* Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive HR reports and document meeting notes as required.

Experience and Skills required
- Experience: 3-5 years experience in a HR Generalist role.
- Proven experience in supporting HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR practices and employment regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.

- CIPD Part or Fully Qualified
- 3rd level qualification in a HR or Business-related discipline
